Availability: This is a preview of the planned bulk-template enhancement. Ask EarlyDay about availability for your account. Templates in individual inbox conversations are a separate experience.
A saved message can give your hiring team a useful starting point. The role, location, hours, pay information, and next step still need to fit the opening. EarlyDay's planned bulk-template enhancement is a preview; existing templates in individual inbox conversations are a separate experience.
A useful template separates the information that stays consistent from the details that change. Your program's introduction may be reusable. The role, location, schedule and next step need review every time. A message about a lead-teacher opening should not accidentally invite someone to an assistant role that has already been filled.
A reusable starting point is: “We are [program], a child care program in [location]. We are hiring a [role] for [schedule], with [pay range]. Would you like to learn more about the position?” Replace every placeholder with current details and adapt the message to the educator before sending.
The planned enhancement adds a Save as template action to the bulk composer, guidance for placeholders in bulk messages, and a refreshed template picker. It is distinct from existing templates in individual inbox conversations. The existence of one template experience does not mean every template workflow is enabled.
Before reusing a saved message, review any placeholders and the final text. Names, program details and job information should be accurate for the current outreach. If a field cannot be reliably personalized, rewrite the sentence rather than leave an unresolved token or imply a relationship that does not exist.
Name a template for its purpose, such as “First invitation: assistant teacher.” Before reuse, check that the opening is active and that its hours, responsibilities, pay information, and next step are current. Remove an outdated template rather than letting it circulate after the role changes.
After sending, personalize the follow-up to the educator's response. A reusable starting point cannot replace listening to a candidate or reviewing their questions about the position.

No. Relevant roles, clear information and thoughtful follow-up matter. A template is a communication aid, not a guarantee of engagement.
