A parent cannot find an invoice email. Start with the existing invoice instead of creating a new charge. Wonderschool's Resend Invoice action requests another email for eligible invoices without replacing the record or restarting an autopay charge.
The described action appears for invoices that have already been sent and remain eligible for follow-up. Paid, processing, transferring, and void invoices are excluded. An invoice that was never sent is a different situation from one whose email a family cannot locate.
Start by opening the exact invoice. Confirm that its amount and details match the family's question, then choose Resend Invoice and review the confirmation. Tell the family you are resending the existing invoice, not adding a second bill. This is a useful distinction when the same family has several invoices across different care periods.
A simple follow-up might say: “I resent invoice [reference] for [care period]. It is another copy of the same bill.” Check the recipient and record before sending that message, especially if the family has several invoices.
Resending is an email action. It does not change the invoice's status, create a new amount owed, or trigger an additional autopay charge through that action. It also does not guarantee the message will land in the family's inbox. If a family still cannot find it, verify the responsible contact and follow Wonderschool's support process rather than repeatedly generating new charges.
The resend action uses the existing invoice email path without reopening the invoice or restarting an autopay charge.
