Explain Which Days an Upcoming Tuition Charge Covers

A parent asks, “Which week or month am I paying for?” On eligible recurring plans, Wonderschool's “Next charge covers” label shows the care period associated with the upcoming charge. Review it alongside the amount and payment schedule.

Payment timing and care timing are different

A due date tells the family when payment is expected. A service period identifies the care associated with the charge. For example, one plan may use a calendar month while another follows a different monthly window. Neither should be inferred from the word 'monthly' alone.

The label adds context to the recurring-plan summary. It does not change the tuition amount, move the due date, alter the schedule, or rewrite an invoice. It is a clearer view of the plan's eligible next charge, not a new billing convention imposed on every family.

Use the label in a family conversation

Open the relevant recurring plan and review the next charge with the family agreement in mind. Read the visible service period alongside the amount and payment schedule. If a parent is asking about an invoice that has already been issued, use that invoice's details rather than assuming the upcoming plan period describes an older charge.

For example, explain the difference between the payment deadline and the dates of care: “Payment is due on [date] for care from [start date] through [end date].” Use the dates shown in the relevant record, and check an issued invoice separately from the next planned charge.

Why might the label be missing?

Not every plan contains the information needed to display a reliable period. Some migrated plans do not have service-period settings, and an ended plan does not have an eligible next charge. The interface can omit the label rather than guess when required information is unavailable.

Frequently asked questions

Does the label change what the family owes?

No. It explains the service period; it does not change the amount or timing.

Should I assume a monthly charge covers the calendar month?

No. Review the specific plan and its service-period information.
