When a family has more than one tuition adjustment, seeing the calculation matters. Wonderschool's billing-plan editor keeps discount rows visible together so you can review the amount, type, and final total without reopening a separate window for each adjustment.
Each discount appears as its own editable row. The provider can review the type, amount, percentage or dollar setting, and removal action in context. The Add Discount or Subsidy link stays available while those rows are visible. The improvement is clearer editing of multiple adjustments, rather than a new rule about which families qualify for them.
Consider an illustrative $1,000 tuition item with a 10% discount and a $150 adjustment. The resulting total is $750. Looking at the rows together makes it easier to check that both entries belong on the item and that the total matches the arrangement. These example amounts are not Wonderschool pricing or a recommendation for your tuition policy.
Validation checks individual items. Missing required discount information needs attention, and discounts cannot make an item's total negative. A discount that reduces an item exactly to zero is different from one that exceeds the item's amount.
Compare the visible rows with the family's agreed arrangement before saving. If another staff member answers the parent's question later, they should be able to explain the same calculation from the record. Keep the reason for each adjustment clear rather than relying on a final number alone.
A field labeled subsidy does not establish eligibility, approve funding, or verify an agency payment. The provider still needs the appropriate documentation and should review the exact saved arrangement before communicating the balance to a family.
Multiple discounts were already supported. This update improves the editing experience by keeping the rows visible together.
The described validation blocks saving an item when its discounts exceed its amount.
