Our Teachers

For the past 27 years, Rozlyn Clark has operated Clark Family Childcare Wonderschool at this location. Early on, she partnered with Kedren Community Early Head Start and attended trainings that enhanced her professional level and quality of care. Coming from a Christian background, she knows that it is imperative to operate the daily functions with integrity and professionalism. Rozlyn is always seeking to improve the quality of care through professional development and training with various agencies.

Other staff members include: Gregg Clark, Tiara Minor and Cychristi Black.

Graduating with a degree in Psychology and Sociology, Gregg Clark has always had a passion for helping others and a love for children. Gregg, as the kids call him, decided to further his education with a graduate degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Now, he shares his knowledge and skills on the ground level to enhance the development of each child at Clark Family Childcare Wonderschool.

Philosophy

Our mission at Clark Family Child Care Wonderschool is to successfully operate a well-rounded program that fosters exploration and provides quality education, nutrition, stability, culture, and love to meet the needs of our students and their families.

Location

Clark Family Child Care Wonderschool is located in a inviting, charming single family home in the Willowbrook neighborhood. We are right off the 105 freeway by Magic Johnson Park.

We’ve built our program on education, development, professionalism, and love. For over 26 years we’ve used small groups and our homey environment to give each child the attention and care they need. Owned and operated by the original owner and licensee, Rozlyn Clark, we’re happy to be able to serve our community. Clark Family Childcare Wonderschool is committed to providing every child with a peaceful and safe developmentally appropriate environment.

Children will spend about half of their time outdoors in my private yard or outdoor space. Connecting with nature is vital to a child’s happiness and growth.

About our program

At Clark Family Child Care Wonderscool, we believe in providing an environment where a child can learn and develop through exploration of educational and exciting experiences. That is why our curriculum closely mirrors advanced preschool lessons. During our lessons, we take the opportunity to encourage children to enjoy learning and academics. This will prepare them for kindergarten and school overall. We use real-life values that instill secure social-emotional development and individuality in each child.

At our program, we believe that each child deserves a chance to be exposed to many facets of growth and advancement. Thus, we take pride in incorporating many subjects into our daily lessons and creative play.

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application. Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
