Our Teachers
Nicole Valencia, Director The founder of this Child Care, Nicole, is passionate about helping children grow and thrive in a daycare that is more like a home. In 2025, She got her certificate from East Los Angeles Community College partnered with Ready2Teach, and has done Mandated Report Training. She is blessed to have this opportunity and is excited to partner with guardians in the development of young children.
Philosophy
Our program is all about building a community. It is a partnership with parents and teachers working together for the benefit of their children. We focus on Hands - on experimenting and play along with Cognitive and Motor skills. That involves listening to the musical instruments, painting, learning to ride a bike or unzip their sweater. We learn to make everyone feel welcomed no matter what we are doing and have patience with ourselves in this new season of growing.
Location
We are in the San Pedro neighborhood. We live in a single family home where we built the daycare. Most of our toys and decor have been donated from other daycares, LakeShore, and caring family’s. We prioritize safety with an entrance gate. There are bus stops nearby. We have schools less than a mile away, one is actually a block away. It is 118 St Elementary School. There are parks less than 10 minutes away. One being the Magic Johnson park that is great for riding bikes, playing on the playgrounds and even getting wet during the summer.
