As a French educator, artisan, and mother, Ninou reflects a deeply personal journey of resilience, creativity, and passion for children.
After years of teaching French and art in Los Angeles, I envisioned a space that blends the warmth of a family home with the richness of a culturally immersive, play-based education.
Drawing inspiration from my French roots and experience as a parent, Ninou was created as a haven where children are not only cared for, but truly seen, heard, and celebrated.

Philosophy
Our Philosophy At Ninou Preschool, we believe early childhood is a time to nurture curiosity, joy, and meaningful connections. Our play-based, French immersion approach supports children’s cognitive, social-emotional, and language development in a warm and respectful environment. We value friendship, creativity, and self-expression, and we see play, art, movement, and shared meals as essential pathways for learning and cultural discovery. Through kindness, respect, and thoughtful guidance, we empower each child to grow with confidence, curiosity, and a strong sense of belonging.
Location
Ninou Preschool is located in the vibrant heart of West Adams / Jefferson Park, a diverse and family-oriented neighborhood known for its strong sense of community and growing cultural life. Our program is situated next to ISANA Charter School, creating a familiar school-centered environment for families.
We are conveniently located just two minutes from the 10 Freeway (Crenshaw exit), making daily drop-off and pick-up easy for families commuting from nearby neighborhoods.
