All I have to say is that Sherrie is ABSOLUTELY amazing! I’m so happy that we found her. My son started going to her when he was 15 months now he’s 18 months and he’s thriving. If you want someone to love and take care of your little one like their own, go to her daycare. She also gives updates throughout the day. She’s the best! Also, this is the first day care I have ever put my son in and it has been nothing but great.

My three year old son has been in Sherie’s care since late August 2017 and I can’t express enough how blessed and thankful I am to have found her and her preschool. It didn’t take long for me to completely trust my son being in her care, which was amazing! Every time I drop my son off with Sherie he is always happy and excited to see her and his friends. Seeing him showing so much excitement at drop off is a constant reminder that I made the best decision when it came to picking Little Seedlings Preschool.

For as long as I have known Sherrie, I have known her to be an absolutely amazing person. She is so patient with children. I admire how she helps children to explore and problem solve. Her approach is soft and nurturing. Sherrie is constantly smiling and laughing it is contagious. Finding someone who will love your kids as you do is hard, but her love for children is beyond amazing! I guarantee this will be your child’s home away from home!
Philosophy
We use a holistic approach to promote self-love and positive self-concept and a love for learning early. Our end goal is raising productive, well-adjusted human beings by fostering their uniqueness in a loving and nurturing environment.
It is also important to us to inspire a love of learning and a thirst for knowledge. The early years are crucial for child development, and these years lay the foundation for their journey as a person first, and student second. We encourage a mastery of core concepts in learning, cognitive skills and social, emotional and physical progress. We believe through self-guided play and a variety of hands-on experiences, children learn about themselves, their neighborhood and the world in which they live.
Location
Little Seedlings Preschool is located within walking distance of Circle Park in Inglewood. We are located within Inglewood Unified School District and minutes away from LAX, Hollywood Park, and the 105, 405 and 110 freeways.
We offer a large outdoor space where children can roam, run and play. There is a variety of outdoor equipment available for children to play with and explore.
About our program
We offer a play-based curriculum with a no pressure approach: we meet children where they are in terms of academic and emotional readiness. We promote a love of learning and offer all students age-appropriate opportunities to learn. We have a special focus on encouraging our students’ intellectual and social skills.
Our lesson plans are developed through a collaboration of teachers and administrators who have conducted observations and evaluations of children and understand their developmental milestones. The curriculum is guaranteed to provide our students with fun and educational experiences to prepare them for a successful academic future.
