Meet the Owner & Educator

I am the owner and lead educator of Kinder Time Academy, bringing more than 14 years of experience operating my own private early childhood educational program.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Communications, and my professional background includes experience as a classroom teacher, paraprofessional, preschool educator, and school administrator. These experiences have shaped my understanding of how young children learn and the importance of individualized instruction.

Throughout my career, I’ve believed that meaningful education begins with understanding each child as an individual. Children develop at different rates, learn in different ways, and deserve instruction that recognizes their strengths while helping them build new skills.

At Kinder Time Academy, I take an active, hands-on role in teaching, observing, encouraging, and guiding my students. Our small-school environment allows me to recognize individual learning needs and adjust instruction accordingly.

My approach combines intentional early literacy instruction, reading, writing, hands-on exploration, creativity, and opportunities for children to develop independence and confidence.

After more than a decade of owning and operating Kinder Time Academy, my commitment remains the same: to provide a personalized educational experience where children are known, supported, challenged, and encouraged to grow.

I believe the most effective teaching begins by knowing where a child is, understanding what comes next, and knowing how to help them get there.

Our Educational Philosophy

At Kinder Time Academy, we believe meaningful learning begins with understanding each child as an individual. Children develop at different rates, and effective teaching recognizes where each child is, what they are ready to learn next, and how to help them succeed.

Our approach is intentional, structured, and hands-on. We emphasize strong foundations in early literacy, letter recognition, phonics, reading, writing, and school readiness while encouraging curiosity, creativity, independence, and confidence.

Through The RAWR™ Way, our daily learning incorporates recognition, purposeful activities, writing, and reading. These elements work together to help children develop essential skills through meaningful experiences.

Our learning environment includes real-world animal studies, nature exploration, building, creative activities, books, and individualized instruction. Children are encouraged to ask questions, make discoveries, solve problems, and apply what they learn.

We believe completing an activity is not the same as understanding it. By observing each child’s progress, we adjust instruction to provide appropriate support and meaningful challenges.

Above all, we value a small, welcoming school environment where children are known, respected, encouraged, and actively engaged in their education.

Our goal is not simply to prepare children for the next grade, but to help them become confident, capable, and enthusiastic learners.

Ubicación

Kinder Time Academy is located in the beautiful Savannah community of Aubrey, Texas, conveniently situated near Highway 380 and accessible to families in Savannah, Little Elm, Prosper, and surrounding neighborhoods.

Savannah is an established, family-oriented residential community featuring neighborhood parks, playgrounds, walking trails, and green spaces. Savannah Elementary School is also located within the community.

Our neighborhood location provides a welcoming, personal setting for early education. Rather than a large commercial school environment, Kinder Time Academy offers children the opportunity to learn and grow in a small, teacher-led private school where individualized attention and meaningful relationships are priorities.

Welcome to Kinder Time Academy!

Located in the Savannah community of Aubrey, Texas, Kinder Time Academy is a small, private educational school serving children ages 3–9.

For 14 years, Kinder Time Academy has provided an intentional early learning environment where children receive individualized attention, meaningful instruction, and opportunities to develop at their own pace.

Our approach emphasizes early literacy, letter recognition, phonics, reading, writing, and school readiness. Through hands-on exploration, real-world animal studies, creative activities, and purposeful learning experiences, children build knowledge, confidence, and independence.

Our small-school setting allows us to recognize each child’s strengths, identify areas for growth, and provide instruction that meets their individual learning needs.

We believe education should be more than completing worksheets. Children should understand what they’re learning, feel confident trying new things, and develop a genuine curiosity about the world around them.

At Kinder Time Academy, every child is known, every child’s progress matters, and learning is intentional.
