Hello! I am Yaxin Gonzalez, the founder of Little Learners Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because I have loved working with children since I was young. I am a mother of 2 children, who are currently part of my program! Before starting my own childcare, I was a social worker and before that I worked for 4C’s, a non-profit focusing on childcare. I love working with children and watching them develop to the best of their potential!

Philosophy
At Little Learners Wonderschool, we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by following their own unique style of discovery. We are a Spanish bi-lingual program working to expose children to both English and Spanish so that they are able to learn numerous languages and express themselves! It is our goal to provide an environment that engages children with developmentally-appropriate activities and materials. In our program, children will feel supported as they engage with new ideas and learnings.
Location
Little Learners Wonderschool is located in a welcoming, warm single family home in North San Jose. We are conveniently located a short drive off of 101 and are just blocks away from both Empire Gardens and Grant Elementary.
We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include dramatic play area (for self-expression and empathy), manipulatives and math area (for fine motor skills and beginning math concepts), and reading / cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite).
Children will have some outdoor time everyday in my private yard!
At Little Learners Wonderschool, I want to provide an enriching environment where children feel free to explore and play.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application
If you would like to enroll, please submit an application. Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.
4. Enroll
After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
