Our Learning Approach at Krishnas Little Kingdom Daycare
(Ages 12 months to 8 years)
At Krishnas Little Kingdom Daycare, we believe that every child learns best when they feel safe, loved, curious, and free to explore. For children ages 12 months to 8 years, we blend a joyful Play-Based Learning approach with gentle Montessori-inspired activities to support their development at every stage.
🌈 Play-Based Learning
Play is the heart of our program. Through open ended, hands on play, children learn naturally and joyfully. Our classroom is designed with age appropriate centers that encourage:
• Imaginative and pretend play.
• Social skills like sharing, teamwork, and communication.
• Early problem solving and decision making.
• Creativity through art, music, sensory play, and exploration.
Play allows children to learn at their own pace while having fun exactly how early childhood learning should be.
🌿 Montessori-Inspired Activities
Along with playful exploration, we include simple, purposeful Montessori style activities that help children build independence and confidence. Depending on your child’s age and readiness, they practice:
• Pouring, sorting, spooning, and fine motor tasks.
• Care of self routines like cleaning up, putting shoes away, and handling materials gently.
• Concentration, order, and responsibility through calm work time.
These activities help even our youngest learners develop patience, coordination, and pride in doing things “all by myself.”
🧩 A Balanced Approach for Every Age
We thoughtfully choose age-appropriate activities for each age group from our curious 12–24 month toddlers, to our energetic 2–3 year olds, up to our more independent preschoolers preparing for kindergarten.
Every child receives:
• Opportunities for physical growth through outdoor play.
• Language development through songs, stories, and conversations.
• Cognitive learning through building, matching, counting, and problem solving.
• Social emotional support through guidance, routines, and positive interactions.
💛 Our Commitment
At Krishnas Little Kingdom Daycare, our goal is to create a warm, nurturing environment where children learn naturally, explore confidently, and grow into independent, joyful learners.
Your child’s kingdom of learning begins here.
