Philosophy

The CISSE GUEYE FAMILY CHILD CARE bilingual play based early childhood education program is a philosophy of education that prioritizes the development of young children through play and language immersion. This approach recognizes that children learn best when they are engaged in activities that are enjoyable and meaningful to them, and that language is a powerful tool for promoting cognitive, social, and emotional growth.

At the heart of this philosophy is the belief that every child is unique and has their own individual strengths and abilities. Therefore, the program strives to create an environment that is inclusive, nurturing, and responsive to the needs of each child. The caregivers and teachers in the program are trained to observe and support children in their learning, and to provide them with opportunities to explore and discover the world around them.

Bilingualism is also a core component of the CISSE GUEYE FAMILY CHILD CARE philosophy. Research has shown that bilingualism can have many cognitive and social benefits for young children, such as improved problem-solving skills, better memory retention, and increased empathy for others. By providing a bilingual environment, the program aims to foster these skills and promote cultural awareness and understanding.

About our program

Hello, my name is Mariama Cisse, and I am the founder of Cisse Gueye Family Child Care, a bilingual play-based early childhood education program located in Los Angeles. I have always had a passion for teaching and working with children, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to help young children in their early stages of development.

At Cisse Gueye Family Child Care, we believe that learning should be fun, engaging, and interactive. Our program is designed to provide a safe and nurturing environment where children can explore, create, and learn through play. We offer a bilingual curriculum that includes activities and lessons in English and French, providing children with a unique opportunity to learn a second language.

We believe that every child is unique and has their own strengths and interests, which is why we tailor our program to meet each child’s individual needs. Our play-based approach allows children to learn through hands-on experiences, which helps to foster their creativity, problem-solving skills, and social-emotional development.

Our program is licensed by the state of California and is staffed by highly trained and experienced educators who are committed to providing the highest quality care for each child. We welcome children of all backgrounds and abilities, and we strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and respected.

At Cisse Gueye Family Child Care, we are passionate about helping children grow and develop into confident, well-rounded individuals. We would be honored to have the opportunity to work with your child and to help them reach their full potential. Please feel free to contact us to schedule a tour of our facility and learn more about our program.
