Our Teachers
Hello! I am Elma Reynolds, the founder of Reynold’s Family Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because I have loved working with children since I was young. I have 10 years of experience working with young children.
Philosophy
At Reynold’s Family Wonderschool, we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by feeling safe, loved, and nurtured. It is our goal to provide an environment that helps each child to feel confident and capable. In our program, children will feel empowered to follow their own interests in a safe space.
Location
Reynold’s Family Wonderschool is located in a bright, beautiful single family home in the Gardena neighborhood.
We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include block area (for gross motor skills and problem solving), dramatic play area (for self-expression and empathy), and reading / cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite).
Children will have some outdoor time everyday in my private yard or outdoor space. Connecting with nature is vital to a child’s happiness and growth.
At Reynold’s Family Wonderschool, I want to provide an enriching environment where children feel free to explore and play.
