Philosophy

Everyday Adventures diligently works to incorporate multiple learning styles and techniques into our outdoor and indoor learning environments. We focus on play based learning as children are more engaged in their play when it incorporates their interests and is self directed increasing their self esteem in their abilities. Our program is unique with the inclusion of nature based inspirations in the activities and materials to pique children’s interest and incorporate the natural world. As we focus on all areas of developmental skills we include both STEM and STEAM to challenge young minds in their scientific and problem solving skills.

Location

Our program is unique as we are nestled south of town in a large house in a six acre fenced six acre yard with an abundant outdoor learning area.

About our program

At Everyday Adventures, we partner with all families to support all children and foster optimal learning and development. Our early childhood educator orchestrates the classroom to meet each child’s individual development while arranging the learning environment to capture each child’s current interests to foster increased attention in their learning. Our program focuses on play based learning where all activities and materials are open-ended to support children’s individual achievements increasing their self-esteem and interests in advancing their play. Our learning covers the five basic areas of development physical, intellectual, language, and emotional and social development. The curriculum covers a wide array of hands on individual and small group activities with an engaged early childhood educator who purposefully scaffolds children’s learning with demonstrations and open ended questions to foster optimum learning and development.
