Our Teachers

It’s always been my dream since elementary school to teach young children. I started in 2010 as an assistant teacher, and continued with education and experience to not only teach young children but to lead as well. 4 years of leadership skills and 15 years in early childcare. I have a CDA in preschool and also an Associate in Early Childcare.

Brittney is passionate about the work she does and finds joy in guiding children through every stage of their growth and development. She takes pride in creating meaningful connections with each child and family, ensuring that every child feels supported, valued, and encouraged along their learning journey.

With a deep love for teaching, she is dedicated to nurturing not only academic skills but also the social and emotional foundations that prepare children for life beyond the classroom. She looks forward to watching her students grow into fully engaged citizens, knowing that her influence and care have played a lasting role in their journey.

Philosophy

At Marjorie’s Little Sunshines, we believe every child deserves to feel heard, safe, and seen. We champion a collaborative experience between our program, each child, and their family, recognizing that strong partnerships create the best outcomes. Children are treated with love and respect, encouraged to explore, and empowered to make choices that benefit themselves and their peers. By fostering independence, empathy, and responsibility, we help children take ownership of their experiences and prepare them to advance to their next developmental and academic stage.

We provide a safe, clean, and inclusive environment where children can learn and grow through a variety of activities. Our goal is for every family to feel wanted, valued, and loved, while honoring the unique identities and backgrounds of each child. We also value and support our staff, investing in their continued growth so they can guide children with compassion, creativity, and expertise.
