Our Teachers

Terina Maddox-Director Terina graduated from Horry-Georgetown Technical College with a degree. in Early Childhood Education In 2014. She has always wanted to be a teacher and her dream of having her own daycare came after the birth of her daughter. Her favorite thing about what she does is developing relationships with the children and watching them accomplish goals that is put before them. She believes that small class size and the development of a strong community allow her and her team to really know each child as an individual and to provide a solid and supportive foundation in the early years.

Philosophy

Here at Little Brittles we believe children learn best through play, exploration, and meaningful relationships. Our play-based approach encourages curiosity, creativity, and independence while supporting each child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. By providing a safe, nurturing environment filled with hands-on experiences, open-ended materials, and positive guidance, we allow children to learn at their own pace and build confidence through discovery. We value the uniqueness of every child and are committed to fostering a love of learning that begins in early childhood and grows for a lifetime.
