Our Teachers

Hello! I am Sandra Milena, the founder of My First Station Daycare Wonderschool. I consider myself a loving, helpful and sweet person. My First Station Daycare Wonderschool is established as a family business inspired by my daughters, I have more than 12 years of experience in childcare. As a mom and provider, I want to offer a quality and excellent service where parents feel safe and calm when leaving their children in the care of My First Station Daycare Wonderschool.

Philosophy

Our goal at My First Station Daycare Wonderschool adopts contemporary pedagogical tendencies by promoting in children a comprehensive training ready and trained to begin their next school stage. Our daycare is based on principles of love, humanity, and respect, seeking to offer quality care for children between the ages of 0 months and 5 years old.

Location

My First Station Daycare Wonderschool is located in a warm, welcoming single-family home in the Santa Clara neighborhood.

Children will have some outdoor time every day in my private yard or outdoor space. We will have plenty of outdoor time for kids to play!

About our program

We have adequate infrastructure, in addition to an excellent, trained and loving staff that facilitates social, emotional, and physical development in children. our program combines children’s curiosity and desire for knowledge with their enjoyment of fun and engaging activities. Each week a different theme is explored through age-appropriate games, crafts, hands-on learning, reading, music, and other educational activities.

In our children’s program, boys and girls live a cognitive, socio-emotional, motor, physical, and neurological process that are the basis of their integral development, expressed in their ability to explore, play and be happy. They create a bond of attachment that occurs mainly in the moments of care, in which it establishes an interaction with an attentive adult that provides timely and pertinent response to their needs.

We enjoy working with your two-year-olds as they discover more and more each day. We teach this age group through music, art and movement while nurturing their progress towards preschool.

We teach two-year-olds numbers, letters, science, shapes, colors, movement and imaginative play with props and dress-up clothes. Much of this will include group play where the children will make friends and learn cooperation and taking turns. Our comfortable and safe atmosphere provides your child with a home away from home.
