Hello! I am Sameera Aziz, the founder of Sammi’s Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because I saw a need for high-quality care in my community. I have 25 years of experience working with young children. I used to run a school in my own country before moving to the United States.

I enrolled my son in Sammi’s Day Care since he was 2.5 months. I interviewed approximately 15 in-home and childcare programs. The process of elimination began with the first phone call. Not only was the first phone call with Sameera pleasant and inviting, but she offered to have my son stay a couple of hours with her to try it out, so he can get used to the new environment & future friends. I instantly felt comfortable as she gently took him from my hand and started caring for him, rocking him and swaying. Once I entered her home I noticed how clean and organized all elements and objects around the house are, I also noticed the kids playing with each other and learned that they have a schedule for each day, because kids at this age need structure. She answered all of my many questions and put my mind at ease.

Till now she calls me about once a day to keep me updated on my son. She would let me know how he was doing, and what he is currently doing. That extra bit of information gave it that special touch. She took that extra step to help keep my husband and me at ease. I cannot express how happy and lucky I am to have found Sammi’s Day Care. I am grateful for the love, care, and guidance he is getting at Sammi’s Day Care. Sameera looks at each child as an individual, with their own strengths and needs. My son has been blessed with an awesome in-home daycare who understand his needs and handle him with grace. My son has learned so much and continues to share with me the great activities that go on each day. Thank you to Sameera for an incredible early childhood curriculum that engages and teaches at all steps of the day. Sameera makes learning fun, her responsiveness, attention to detail and support is one of many reasons why I picked Sammi’s Day Care over any other daycare. I cannot imagine how I could’ve coped without knowing that my son is in a safe, fun place every day. Everything he has learned so far has enabled him to be outgoing, independent and respectful of others. My husband and I are very proud of him and thankful for all the hard work and efforts Sammi’s Daycare has taught and continues to teach my son.

Philosophy

At Sammi’s Wonderschool, we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by exploring the world around them. It is our goal to provide an environment that helps each child to feel confident and capable. In our program, children will feel supported as they engage with new ideas and learnings.

Location

Sammi’s Wonderschool is located in a charming, cozy single family home in the Branham neighborhood.

Children will have some outdoor time everyday in my private yard or outdoor space. Children need space to run, jump, and move!

At Sammi’s Wonderschool, I want to provide a loving home away from home.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application at www.wonderschool.com/sammi-s-wonderschool-4777/apply – Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
