Our Teachers

Hello! I am Celia Arias, the founder of Patty’s Family Wonderschool. I was inspired to start my own program because I have loved working with children since I was young. I have 30 years of experience working with young children. I hold a university degree as a “Preschool Teacher” from Mexico, and a Master Teacher Permit from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. I continue to participate in training, workshops, and development programs related to Early Childhood Care.

Philosophy

At Patty’s Family Wonderschool, we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by feeling safe, loved, and nurtured. It is our goal to provide an environment that makes children feel welcomed and at home. In our program, children will feel genuinely cared for and cherished.

Play allows children to experiment, try things out, put their ideas into action and implement developmentally and emotional, so they can learn to communicate effectively with others.

The child will have the opportunity to interact in a positive manner with other children accepting diversity and differences thereby building self-steam.

My role is to create an environment that invites children to observe, discover, create, feel, taste, choose, be active, touch, relax, and enjoy a full range of activities.

Location

Patty’s Family Wonderschool is located in a warm, cozy townhouse in the Meadow Fair neighborhood of San Jose, near Tully Rd. and King.

Children will have some outdoor time everyday in my private yard or outdoor space. Connecting with nature lets children gain deeper knowledge of themselves and the world.

At Patty’s Family Wonderschool, I want to provide an enriching environment where children feel free to explore and play.

About our program

My mission is to share the quality of time and to be sure that every child have the attention necessary that they deserve.

The curriculum is balance to address the child’s needs: Social-Emotional, Cognitive, Language and Motor skills.

My vision is to offer a safe and loving environment where the child feels just like home and they are loved by all my family. They have materials according to their age and interest.
