Our Teachers

Our director has over 10 years of experience with training and certification needed for childcare (Early childhood education, Montessori, Special Education, First Aid, CPR).

Our team is committed to providing the highest quality of childcare. We are all trained and certified in children’s health, safety and early childhood development. We have a program that develops children’s academics, psychological, emotional, behavioral and social skills.

Philosophy

Our children are born into a digital world. With digitalization comes many advantages but it hampers our children from learning patience, independent thought, problem-solving skills and resolving conflict.

We lean on the Montessori method and a Progressive play-based system of education and environment to nurture and develop your children. Our program is designed for children to discover, interact, think for themselves and generate solutions (and not just hand the answers to them).

We also focus on the social development, something that is unnurtured in this digital age. Children need to play, be happy, establish relationships and learn how to deal with social conflict to grow into fulfilled individuals.

We cultivate these and more while ensuring that traditional growth development expectations (academics and State & Federal educational standards) are met.

Location

We our in 149 N. Cragmont Avenue, San Jose, CA 95127, which is in a family friendly neighborhood within St. Vianney Catholic Church, and Mandala House. We are close to the 680 and accessible via multiple exits especially McKee or Alum Rock.

About our program

Welcome to Hana Children’s House! We offer children a nurturing and loving environment that’s just like home. At our home daycare, our goal is to help children learn important social, emotional and behavioral skills that ensure they reach their developmental milestones. We develop strong foundations in learning via a Montessori and Play based program for children 0 months to 5 years. We look forward to hearing from you. Contact us to schedule a tour for you and your family.
