Hi! I am Vicky, and I have been working with children for years. I was fortunate enough to begin my work in a childcare center and, after meeting many other local providers and taking classes, realized that having an in-home childcare is my passion. Here, I am able to guide children toward their goals and provide a space that is equal parts quality and love.

Hola! Soy Vicky y llevo años trabajando con niños. Tuve la suerte de comenzar mi trabajo en un centro de cuidado infantil y, después de conocer a muchos otros proveedores locales y tomar clases, me di cuenta de que tener un cuidado infantil en el hogar es mi pasión. Aquí, puedo guiar a los niños hacia sus objetivos y proporcionarles un espacio que es a la vez calidad y amor.

Philosophy

At Graceful Learning, our philosophy is focused on the holistic education of children. We seek to provide a structured, healthy, loving environment for children where they can thrive and reach their potential. Our program is a Spanish immersion program in which children are engrossed in the Spanish language. We work to get to know the individual interests and needs of the children, so we can help care and develop each child in the best way possible.

Ofrecemos un ambiente seguro, saludable y amoroso para los niños donde pueden prosperar y alcanzar su potencial. Nuestro programa es un programa de inmersión bilingüe, donde los niños aprenden inglés y español. Trabajamos para conocer los intereses y necesidades individuales de los niños, de modo que podamos ayudar a cuidar y desarrollar a cada niño de la mejor manera posible

Location

Located just minutes from the Tully Rd. exit on 101, we are located in the Meadowfair neighborhood of East San Jose. Located in a cozy neighborhood right behind the Eastridge Mall and off of the Capitol Expressway, our single family home has a fenced-in backyard where children can enjoy their time.

About our program

We offer an opportunity for children from the age of 4 months to 5 years to learn Spanish in a supportive and loving environment.

Our program is aligned with the California Learning Foundations and I continually research new curriculum developments as they are released to best serve all students in our space. We are deeply committed to providing educational experiences for children that are based on both age and interest. Our physical space is intentionally designed with learning areas, themed centers, and an openness for exploration. I use DRDP evaluations to provide consistent tracking of your child’s development and will share their growth and ways that we can partner throughout your child’s time at Graceful Learning.

We seek to provide a structured, comprehensive learning environment that allows children to thrive. We provide numerous materials that allow children to be creative and express themselves through art, music, song and dance! Furthermore, we develop tailored lesson plans, with a variety of themes, so that our children can learn and develop at their individual level.

Estamos alineados con los fundamentos de aprendizaje de California y cubrimos cada uno dentro de las pautas de los fundamentos. ¡Practicamos evaluaciones DRDP y constantemente evaluamos y observamos a nuestros hijos para asegurarnos de que podamos ayudarlos a desarrollarse y crecer de la mejor manera posible!

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application. Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
