Our Teachers

Hello! I am Lorelie Lubag, the founder of Little Roses & Apples. I was inspired to start my own program because it has always been my dream to design my own space where children can blossom and grow. I am a mommy of 2 and enjoy watching my daughters explore their environment as they learn about the world around them. I have 12 years of experience working with young children in Montessori programs and as a private teacher and nanny for young families. I can’t wait to share my experience with you!

Testimonials

My daughter is now 14 months and many parents are so amazed with how quickly she has been developing. She started crawling at 6 months, walking at 11 months, and can mimick different things I teach her. Without a shadow of a doubt, I know that Lorelie has helped tremendously with her development. I love how she doesn’t only have the usual toys that other daycare would have but she has toys that are specifically for the development of babies and toddlers at every stage. In addition to this, I noticed how intimate Lorelie is with her kids due to not having too many at one time. This allows her to give each of her kids the attention they might not get at daycares that are packed. I’m very satisfied with having my daughter here and would highly recommend her.

Lorelie is amazing! She is trustworthy, attentive and reliable.  The environment she creates is spotless, playful and welcoming. My kids ( 2 year old son & 8 year old daughter) love being around her. I appreciate how she doesn’t expect my children to be at a certain level and encourages to meet them where they are at. I also appreciate her communication, getting updates throughout the day on how my 2 year old is doing puts my mind at ease.If there is someone out there other than a family member to trust my kids with , It’s Lorelie! 5🌟

I want to rate Roses & Apples daycare a 5 star. Lorelie has became such a wonderful part of my daughter’s life. She’s such an amazing mommy, professional & respectable person! She’s so flexible and accommodating. I know I can trust her with my daughter. She’s also been going above & beyond to provide the best care possible. I’m really happy with Lorelie!

For the past year my son who is now one has being going to Little Roes & Apples Daycare under the care of Lorelie. Our experience with Lorilie has been nothing but positive things. One thing I like the most is that her daughter is the same age as our son. Watching them interact, and grow with each other has been a pleasure. Also, per my request as a new Mom always missing my son Lorelie sends me updates throughout his time there on how he is doing and at times even sends me photos of him. Those updates and photos make my day. Lorelie makes me feel safe and well taken care of leaving my son with her. As a new Mom that is a very big deal. If there was a rating system I would give her five stars out of five!

Philosophy

My philosophy at Little Roses & Apples Daycare is to provide a play-based and child-centered environment where children learn, explore, and grow through hands-on experiences. I believe in tailoring daily activities to the children’s interests, fostering their development through responsive and nurturing interactions. By creating an open and inviting space, I aim to inspire curiosity and independence, allowing each child the freedom to choose their path of exploration. My joy comes from witnessing children blossom and acquire new skills as they engage with the world around them. Through genuine care and personalized engagement, I strive to create a space where every child feels valued, understood, and supported.

Location

Little Roses & Apples is located in Elk Grove. We are located right off of Grantline exit on Highway 99 near Sky River Casino.

About our program

At Little Roses & Apples Daycare in Elk Grove, I believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by exploring the world around them. I have set up the classroom to be an open and inviting space that encourages freedom of exploration and allows for ample choice.

It is my goal to provide an environment that engages children with developmentally-appropriate activities and materials. My absolute favorite part of being in relationship with children is watching them grow into a new skill or ability. By providing daily experiences that meet children where they are, I am always in tune with how they learn best.

In this program, children will feel genuinely cared for, seen and cherished.
