Testimonials
“I’ve had three children attend this school and I highly recommend them. The administration is action forward and quick to respond to concerns. The teachers are so Loving to my children. As a working parent I always feared missing my children’s milestones and the teachers were always conscious to make me feel as if I experienced them first, although I knew my child took their first steps with them. I can’t say enough kind things about the staff and the attentiveness to our kids. Most importantly my children loved to go to school and learn. They set them up for success to move on to be honor roll students in the egusd school system. My older kids get excited to come and pick up their youngest sibling simply to say hello to their past teachers. If I have a fourth child, we know where they will go!”
Philosophy
Our Links to Learning curriculum offers the perfect balance of learning and play so children can become confident learners. Every step in the Links to Learning journey builds on the last, preparing children for success in school and life!
Links to Learning, our proprietary preschool curriculum for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, takes advantage of a child’s readiness to learn with activities that are fun, challenging, and engaging. Links to Learning is organized into six developmental stages incorporating seven subject areas. At each stage of the preschool journey, we introduce new concepts and skills while reviewing and reinforcing existing skills.
About our program
Merryhill School on Laguna Park Dr. in Elk Grove, CA is committed to providing exceptional daycare and preschool education to children in the Laguna West, Laguna Creek, Vintage Park East, Sheldon Heights, and Franklin communities. We’re more than just a child care center – we provide a safe, nurturing environment where children learn, grow, and thrive. Our NAEYC-accredited preschool uses our Links to Learning curriculum, which prepares children for elementary school and beyond by developing important academic, social, and emotional skills. Our teachers help each child discover a fascinating world of learning and play.
Whether students are engaging in imaginative play with friends, exploring new books, or mastering early math skills, our teachers are there to guide and support them every step of the way. We understand that as a parent, your child’s happiness and well-being are paramount. That’s why we go above and beyond to ensure your child feels valued, supported, and excited to learn.
When our students graduate, many continue their education at one of our sister elementary schools located in the Elk Grove and Midtown areas of Sacramento.
