Philosophy

At Lisa’s Family Daycare our top priority is to provide a safe and nurturing environment conducive to your child ‘s development from infancy to pre-k at Lisa’s Family Daycare our top priority is to provide a safe and nurturing environment conducive to your child ‘s development from infancy to preschool. We teach basic academic skills needed to be successful in primary school and set the framework for a lifetime of learning.

Location

Lisa’s Family Daycare is located in a bright, warm single family home in Elk Grove. We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests.

Children will have some outdoor time everyday in my private yard or outdoor space. We also take trips to the multiple parks nearby. We understand how important it is for children to get time outside. This helps with cognitive development.

At Lisa’s Family Daycare, I want to provide an enriching environment where children feel free to explore and play.

About our program

Each Child is Unique. We also recognize that every child is unique and has his or her own way of making sense of the world. Therefore, we strive to make learning exciting for all of our children by using different learning nobilities to assist them in processing new information. We encourage our teachers to observe and listen to the children in an effort to learn what intrigues them, then design engaging activities that cater to their interests.

Kindergarten Preparation. We teach basic academic skills needed to be successful in primary school and set the framework for a lifetime of learning. We want to make learning fun now, so they are self-motivated as they grow and develop.

Buttercups. Buttercups is an interactive curriculum for children ages 0 to 36 months. It includes daily lesson plans, tips for individualizing activities, observation tips, extensions for older toddlers, and more.

Fireflies Curriculum: A Preschool lesson plan used for children ages 2 and older.
