Our Teachers

Anika Sultana, Director

Anika has been a teacher and online tutor for the past 11 years. She has a Masters Degree in religion studies, and is certified in fundamentals of Montessori education. After the birth of her daughter in 2021, she realized her dream of having her own home based creative preschool/childcare. Her favorite thing about what she does is to see the children grow and succeed, and to share those special developmental moments that will lead them to be confident personalities of society one day. She believes a small class size and importance of quality, nurturing early childhood care and education will allow her to know each child as an individual and to provide a solid and supportive foundation in the early years.

Philosophy

We believe that healthy social interactions, good role models, an effective learning environment, and a healthy diet have a profound effect on the child’s development; cognitively, physically, and emotionally. At Olive Tree Child Care, we strive to create a safe and nurturing environment of young problem solvers inspired by the Montessori philosophy. Our program is where children develop self-sufficiency through doing, learn through engaging hands-on activities, and become socially confident by working together.

About our program

We serve a whole food healing diet. Our program prioritizes one-on-one interactive learning over technology in these vulnerable early years. With a 1:5 child capacity, we give importance and individual attention to each child’s needs.
