Saima Khan, Director

Saima Khan is the owner and primary childcare provider of Zoya Daycare, bringing more than 25 years of experience in early childhood care and education. She’s not only supported hundreds of families and children in her program, but is also a mother of three. Her extensive background is supported by over 200 hours of formal childcare education and training, as well as current First Aid and CPR certification, ensuring the highest standards of safety and preparedness. Previously licensed in Fairfax County, she is now licensed and certified by the Virginia Department of Education.

Throughout her career, Saima has demonstrated a strong dedication to fostering environments where children feel secure, valued, and encouraged to learn. She is deeply passionate about early childhood development and views her role as a provider as a foundational influence in each child’s growth, and a part of each and every family she serves. Her approach emphasizes consistency, and developmentally appropriate, play-based experiences that support each child’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Philosophy

At Zoya Daycare, we believe children learn best through play and hands-on exploration. Our nurturing environment encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence as each child discovers the world at their own pace. Through guided play, sensory activities, and interactive experiences, we support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development—helping every child grow, learn, and thrive in a joyful, safe, and inspiring space.

Location

We are located in the heart of Lake Ridge in Woodbridge, right off of Old Bridge Rd, making access to I-95 a breeze! We’re in a quiet, friendly, and safe neighborhood, with our own fenced backyard space used as a play area for kids to enjoy fresh air and sunlight.

About our program

At Zoya Daycare, we believe that every child thrives when they feel safe, loved, and inspired to explore. Our program is rooted in hands-on, play-based learning, giving babies and young children the freedom to discover the world through touch, movement, and joyful interaction.

We create a nurturing, home-like environment where each child is cared for with patience, compassion, and attention to their unique needs. Through sensory activities, age-appropriate play, and gentle guidance, we encourage curiosity, build confidence, and support early developmental milestones.

At our program, your little one will experience warm relationships, meaningful learning, and a place where every giggle, cuddle, and new discovery is celebrated. Our mission is simple: to provide a loving foundation that helps every child grow, play, and shine.
