Our Teachers
Our teachers go through a tough selection process, and several criteria are evaluated, like education, qualification, experience, certification, references, classroom management skills, and interaction with children. The staff of WBLC has a commitment to excellence, and more than 50% of our teachers have been with us for over 2-10 years. They are experienced, trained, and dedicated to promoting an environment filled with learning and fun. We boast some of the lowest teacher-child ratios in the industry.

WBLC offers a unique and exceptional educational program that introduces academics through fun activities that not only invigorate the mind of a child but also boost independence and confidence.
We challenge our children with a curriculum that captures their imagination, and a learning environment where they can make discoveries, solve problems, and think independently.
We believe that no one method of instruction is all comprehensive, we have drawn from several traditional and progressive approaches like Montessori Education, Whole Languages, and Frog Street Press Phonics, and developed a well rounded curriculum that encourages the social, academic and emotional growth of the child.
Location
We’re located in West Central Plano in the Plano Independent School District. We are equidistant from three major freeways - Central Expressway, Dallas North Tollway, and George Bush Fwy. Everything from the Haggard Library to Haggard Park is a short walk awy, yet we’re in a peaceful, quiet location with a personal parking lot and an acre of grounds and plenty of playground space - a parent’s dream!
