Hello, my name is Tayashia, and I am the owner and provider of Tayashia’s Childcare, a home-based child care program created with families and children at heart.
I am passionate about early childhood education and motivated by my desire to work from home while being fully present for my own children. With several years of child care experience, I bring patience, care, and dedication to everything I do. I understand how important it is for families to feel confident and comfortable with the person caring for their children, and I strive to create a warm, safe, and nurturing environment where every child feels valued.
My long-term goal is to build a high-quality child care program that supports children’s growth, curiosity, and independence while partnering closely with families. I am excited to continue learning, growing, and working with coaches and resources to provide the best possible care.
Philosophy
At Tayashia’s Childcare, I believe that children learn best through play, exploration, and meaningful experiences. Play is not just something children do for fun, it is how they discover the world, build relationships, and develop essential skills.
My program uses a child-centered, interest-based curriculum, meaning learning activities are inspired by the children’s natural curiosity, interests, and developmental stages. By observing what children are excited about, I am able to create engaging experiences that support learning in areas such as language, social-emotional development, problem-solving, and creativity.
I believe in providing a balance of structured activities and free play, both indoors and outdoors, allowing children to move, imagine, and explore in a safe and supportive environment. Every child is unique, and I am committed to respecting individual learning styles, encouraging independence, and helping children grow at their own pace.
My goal is to create a loving, inclusive space where children feel confident to learn, play, and thrive.
