Philosophy

At our childcare facility, we strive to create a warm and safe environment where children know that will be cared for at all times. Our community of young learners will learn the value of curiosity, exploration, and learning-by-doing through our Montessori-inspired curriculum. Sable Family Care is a place where children can be free to make mistakes, and know the value of learning from them. We value teamwork, collaboration, self-confidence, and empathy - and build those skills and traits into everything we do.

We believe that children should be treated with respect, and that in a nurturing and appropriately rigorous environment, they are able to learn more than we can ever imagine. Our team of experienced and passionate teachers instill these values daily taking the time to learn the needs and qualities of each student in our care.

Location

To foster a warm, nurturing environment of care and family, we are located in an end-unit single family home. Our neighborhood is clean and safe, and the community is welcoming. We have a small outdoor space and take regularly planned trips to the nearby public playground for playtime outdoors!

About our program

Sable Family Care provides safe, affordable childcare for children ages 1.5 to 5 years old. Located in the heart of Philadelphia (West Powelton)… we’re here to help your child thrive in a fun and positive environment. Our affordable childcare tuition begins at $1,100/ month for a full-time schedule.

Add-ons include transportation, weekly grocery shopping, and laundry service to support busy families. While your children are our top priority, we support busy families so you can spend time with loved ones instead of stressing out!

At Sable Family Care, we teach the building blocks of math, literacy, and science concepts, while highlighting the importance of creativity and play. We do this through our play-based, Montessori-inspired curriculum. Our curriculum is rooted in early childhood education research, allowing children to discover the world around them through exploration and practice.
