Testimonials
Elaine taught my daughter from 2010-2013. My daughter learned social skills and critical thinking skills. She had homework assignments every week and was expected to have them completed by the deadline. Elaine’s curriculum and high expectations of her students and parents helped when it was time to place my daughter in a public school. Because of my daughter’s birth date, she had to stay an extra year in the daycare. I was afraid that she would be behind, but she was actually more advanced than most of the children in her Kindergarten class. She was advanced both academically and socially. Being a working mother, Elaine worked with me on days that I ran late in traffic which was extremely helpful for me. Oh…and I forgot, the food was AMAZING! ~ J. Singleton
This is the place if anyone is looking for a place to grow and learn for their kids. Elaine Redley’s childcare is a safe place for my children. I have been using this provider since the birth of my child. She has been a big help to my children and myself; she is very understanding and helpful. My daughter started to say her ABC’s when she was nine months because of her service. Best service, you won’t be disappointed! ~ HM
Philosophy
Our onboarding philosophy focuses on fostering critical thinking, creativity, hands-on learning, and interpersonal communication skills, along with activities that support both growth and fine motor skills. In addition, we strongly believe in the power of play as a tool for learning among young children. By combining play with education, we cultivate a high-quality learning environment that encourages both logical and creative thinking, laying a foundation of skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.
About our program
Elaine’s Family Day Care works closely with the parents so that we are able to provide unique individual attention for each student. We provide a safe and inclusive environment, allowing each child to feel just as important as the next. At our school, we teach the concepts of math, science, engineering, art, social sciences and early literacy through our play-based, child-led curriculum. We use the interests and ideas of the children as a jumping off place. The materials are open-ended and invite discovery. Children make their own investigations and draw their own conclusions whenever possible.
