Our Teachers

Lizet Molina, Owner/Operator

Lizet is from Mexico. Since she was a child, her dream was to become a preschool teacher. When she became a mother, she decided to pursue her dream and further her education. She has earned an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been working in the field for about fifteen years. Lizet strongly believes that “parents are the first and best teacher of their children” therefore, building a close relationship with them is essential. Lizet values the uniqueness of each child and holds a strong sense of pride to serve a small group of children in her home. She is compromised to provide the support families need in the first years of their children’s lives.

Nuestras Maestras

Testimonials

“The best childcare we’ve experienced so far. My children absolutely loved Lizet and the Children’s Space. They looked forward to it everyday and even after months away, they still ask to call her. The entire place is set up for the care, nurture and education children. It should be named the “Learning center.” My 3 children came home everyday with new skills and things they wanted to explore. This place is very educational and hands-on. 5 out of 5. Lizet and the Children’s Space is top notch. Highly recommend.”-Parent

“My 15 month old daughter has been going to Children’s Space for almost 6 months now and we absolutely love it. She is very happy there and loves Lizet; sometimes picking her up is a struggle because she doesn’t want to leave, I take that as a great sign! Lizet is a very loving and patient person and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. I really like that my daughter is growing in a bilingual (English/Spanish) environment with activities that help her development. I would definitely recommend this daycare to other parents.”-Parent

Philosophy

At Children’s Space, we believe in play as a foundation for learning. We promote love, and respectful parenting by honoring and valuing families’ uniqueness and building strong relationships based on trust and effective communication. Our program is inspired in the Regio Emilia approach which believes that the environment is the third teacher. We support children’s exploration and curiosity by providing an environment where they can engage in different activities through our discovery play areas.

About our program

Children’s Space opened its doors in the spring of 2022. The childcare is owned and operated by Lizet Molina who has earned an Associate Degree in Early Childhood education, CPR/First Aid certified, and she has fifteen years of experience working in the field. Children’s Space is a bilingual (English/Spanish) program inspired in the Regio Emilia approach. Reggio environments are designed to encourage creative expression, communication, and collaboration.

In our program, children will spend most of the time socializing and exploring our different play-learning areas (Blocks, Pretending area, Art, Reading, and sensory play).

Spanish is embedded in our daily routine and activities. Children will get to know their colors, shapes, numbers, story books, songs, and basic Spanish vocabulary. Teacher will use Spanish with the children individually or in small groups through the day, not just in our morning meeting.
