Our Teachers
Anna is the teacher and she has a background in Physical therapy as a PTA/LMT where a lot of her patients were pediatric patients. At the beginning of 2020 when the pandemic hit her work closed down but it was a blessing in disguise because that was when she had her beautiful daughter. Her daughter has been since diagnosed with apraxia and Anna has been using sign language with her to communicate with her. She has 10 years experience volunteering with children doing adaptive and therapeutic recreation for children with disabilities through the program ‘outdoors for all’. Anna has a certificate from COCC in the accelerated child care program, is Adult/Infant CPR certified. She is learning American sign language (ASL) and incorporates it into the program as well as communication boards and routine cards for nonverbal/pre verbal children.
