Marilyn Whitney, Owner and operator
After raising over half of her 5 children, and some leaving the nest, she realized it was time for her to fulfill her dream of owning her own in home childcare program. Her favorite thing about what she does is developing relationships with the children that she teaches and their families in her small community. She believes that the small class size and the development of a strong community allow her to really know each child as an individual and to provide a solid and supportive foundation in the early years.

About our program
At my in home daycare, I like to keep a home-like feel. I will teach simple and early concepts of math, science, engineering, art, social sciences and early literacy through our play-based, child-led curriculum. We will go on adventures and learn things together. I will also keep a structured routine so children can thrive. I will provide home made meals and fun activities that keep them entertained and learning.
