My name is Samantha and I am the owner and Director of The Little Rascals Learning Clubhouse. I was inspired to open my own child care because of my love and passion for children and their learning. I have 13 years of childcare experience from roles such as babysitter, Nanny, Preschool Teacher, Case manager, Child and Family Specialist. I hold an Associates degree in Psychology, a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Psychology. I have seen first hand and believe that children who feel valued, loved and respected enjoy learning and engaging with others. I value family relationships and want families to be open with me and keep open communication so that I can provide the best care and education for your child.

Philosophy
At The Little Rascals Learning Clubhouse, we believe children can learn, develop and grow by feeling safe, loved and respected. We believe that learning happens in a fun and loving environment. At The Little Rascals Learning Clubhouse, we use a play-based style so that children can learn while having fun. That is why we believe in and will work with children to develop social emotional learning skills such as respect, empathy, compassion through activity engagement and self-exploration. We will also work with your child hand and hand to assist in the development of motor skills, recognition, math skills and basic concepts. We will teach manners and take on responsibilities when needed for example we will apologize when needed and use manners when wanting something like please and thank you when another friend may have or be using something we may want. It is our goal to give children a place where they can participate in age-appropriate activities, have fun while being with their peers and give them the encouragement to explore freely. In our program, your child will be shown compassion and empathy as well as be given different ways to learn and grow to what works best for them as all kids learn differently. We will make connections with each child so we can assure that every child’s needs are being met. But every child who attends our care will feel compassion, will be eager to learn and will enjoy coming to The Little Rascals Learning Clubhouse every day.
