Our Teachers
Our teachers have a passion for working with children and helping them grow, learn, and have fun. Our core skills include creating a safe and enriching learning environment, developing lesson plans and activities, communicating effectively with parents, and maintaining accurate records. Our teachers are creative, diverse, and nurturing who support the social, emotional and cognitive development of young people. Our staff is experienced teachers versed in teaching general-population and learning-different children. Passionate about helping children reach their full potential and creating a strong foundation for them to build upon for a successful educational future. Most of our teachers have their CDA and all have their 24 hours yearly or more required state training. ABC Halo has a total of 43 years of experience working with children.
Philosophy
Our program is about creating an opportunity for growth and in order to learn, a child needs to feel cared for and secure with their teacher/s. Our goal is to ensure children have a safe and warm environment, well trained staff to teach and nurture them through consistent development, by providing an assortment of skill building activities on a daily basis. Our program exists to support and enhance young people. It is our hope that after completing the program, your children will have developed: Authenticity, Belonging, Creativity, Honesty, Ability -to-Achieve, Love and Outstanding traits that set them up for success in a school environment.
Location
ABC Halo Childcare Center #2 is located just off Stead and Lear Boulevard in the North Valleys. The location was previously Sierra Nevada Charter Acedemy. We are located just down the street from the JCPenny Distribution Center. We are in close proximity to US 395.
