Ms Ivan: With over a decade of experience in early childhood education, I have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to mastering the art of early learning and care. My journey began over 11 years ago, driven by a deep personal mission to provide the best possible learning environment for my own children while maintaining an active role in their formative years. Recognizing that high-quality, personalized early education plays a critical role in shaping a child’s future, I transformed this passion into a thriving business rooted in excellence, innovation, and community impact. In August 2022, Bonsai Baby LLC was founded—an Early Childhood Botanical Care Program designed to nurture children holistically, with love at the center of all learning experiences. Specializing in the care of infants and toddlers from birth to 3.5 years old, Bonsai Baby LLC is known for exceptional care, personalized attention, and a rich, nurturing environment where children flourish. The program integrates gardening, environmental stewardship, and community engagement to foster social responsibility, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
Philosophy
At Bonsai Baby, we believe in creating a joyful onboarding experience where little people learn best when they are engaged and having fun. Our philosophy centers around nurturing each child as a unique seed, encouraging growth in their own beautiful direction with love and respect. We provide a safe, nurturing home away from home where children can freely express themselves, explore with curiosity, and establish strong foundations for lifelong learning. Our approach values trust, genuine relationships, cultural respect, and personalized learning experiences tailored to honor each child’s development and family dynamics. Music is integrated as a powerful tool for enhancing language, emotional expression, creativity, and connection. We embody the belief that every moment is an opportunity for growth, and we are committed to supporting children in flourishing through creativity, care, and community. Join us at Bonsai Baby to Sow, Flow, and Grow together with love, brilliance, and joy.

About our program
At Bonsai Baby, we are more than just childcare—we are a village rooted in love, growth, and intentional learning. Our Early Childhood Botanical Program nurtures infants and toddlers from birth to 3.5 years old through a holistic, play and nature-based curriculum that honors the whole child—mind, body, heart, and spirit.
What makes Bonsai Baby truly unique is our deep integration of gardening, environmental care, community connection, and a STEAM-inspired curriculum designed for early learners. Our program, called e(engineer) = S(science).M(math)Art T(travel) and T(technology), introduces foundational concepts in fun, age-appropriate ways to spark curiosity and confidence.
We nourish more than minds—we nourish bodies too! Children enjoy home-cooked, balanced meals daily, supporting healthy habits from the start. And throughout our learning environment, music serves as our second teacher—supporting self-regulation, creativity, and joyful expression.
Family-Centered & Community-Fueled
We believe in the power of partnership with families. Parents are their child’s first educator, and we honor that role by creating strong, respectful relationships that allow children to thrive.
Every other month, we host Family Mixers—intentional gatherings where parents can connect, learn, share, and grow in community. These mixers offer practical tools for home learning, hands-on activities, and the chance to build lasting relationships with fellow families and educators.
Throughout the year, we celebrate the seasons, milestones, and cultures within our Bonsai Baby community through seasonal celebrations, garden days, and cultural appreciation events where families are encouraged to share their traditions and experiences.
Specialized Learning, Personalized Growth
At Bonsai Baby, no child is ever “one-size-fits-all.” Through the use of Kangaroo Time Educator AI, we create both general and individualized lesson plans that meet children right where they are developmentally—and involve families every step of the way.
Each day is an opportunity to play, learn, and grow in a safe, seen, and heard environment. With love at the center of everything we do, we are here to support your child’s natural flow, and help them grow in the direction that’s uniquely theirs.
