Our teachers are long-term, committed educators who grow alongside the children they teach. Many of our teachers stay with us for years, which is something we value deeply. We believe the relationships children build with their teachers matter, and consistency plays a critical role in a child’s sense of safety, trust, and development. Philosophy

Philosophy At Henderson Christian Academy, our philosophy is rooted in character and curiosity. We intentionally cultivate the Fruits of the Spirit—love, patience, kindness, self-control, and respect—because who children become matters as much as what they learn. These values shape how children treat others, manage emotions, and engage with the world around them. Our learning approach is inspired by Reggio Emilia principles, encouraging children to ask questions, explore ideas, and think critically. Teachers guide learning through curiosity-driven experiences that build confidence, independence, and problem-solving skills. By grounding children in strong values and nurturing their natural curiosity, we prepare them for the future—not just academically, but as thoughtful, capable individuals.

Location

Henderson Christian Academy is located in a quiet, safe suburban neighborhood that offers a calm and secure environment for children and families. Our campus is thoughtfully designed for early learning, with three age-specific playgrounds that allow children to play, explore, and develop safely at every stage.

Beyond the classroom, children benefit from hands-on experiences that connect them to the world around them, including classroom pets and gardening activities that teach responsibility, care, and curiosity. Our location combines the peace of a residential setting with enriching outdoor and experiential learning—creating a place where children can grow, play, and feel at home.

About our program

Admissions

Our admissions process is simple. Families start by scheduling a tour to visit the school and meet our team. After the tour, we provide an enrollment package and confirm availability and a start date.
