Philosophy

I believe the first years of a child’s life are by far the most imperative, helping to lay the foundation for all intellectual and emotional development to follow. Through nurturing and individualized attention, I take great care to provide a warm, friendly and fun environment for your child while ensuring they receive the guidance and structure they need. I strive to nurture your child’s ideas and imagination and acknowledge each child’s individuality and personality. Each child is encouraged to develop and grow at their own pace. My goal is to provide a safe place where all children know they are accepted and loved while helping to instill in each child a strong sense of self-worth and purpose. My job is to make sure each child has positive experiences throughout each day.

Being a mother, I understand how difficult it is to leave your child in someone else’s care.

Because of this, I can appreciate the trust you must put in me on a daily basis. Therefore, my intention is to build your trust by being professional, dependable, honest and most importantly caring for your child the same way I would want my own children to be cared for. I feel that good communication between parent and provider is a very important part of any quality child care. I want you to feel completely confident and comfortable when you leave your child in my care. I understand that you are trusting me to care for your child and I take this responsibility very seriously. I look forward to the opportunity to care for your child.

Children are valued as individuals and our family environment reflects our appreciation of their diversity, family values, and cultural backgrounds. I make every effort for all children to have the opportunity to grow physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually by playing, exploring, and learning with others in a fun, safe and healthy atmosphere. As a family owned and operated child care, I provide a home like environment where families are supported through strong partnerships. I recognize that parents are the first and most important teachers of their children and welcome positive family involvement. I will always encourage a parent-teacher approach where the needs of every child comes first in order to experience the benefits of excellent early childhood education.
