Children are little people with little mind’s, hearts and souls. They have emotions and they experience joy, sadness, hurt, love, anger, fear and all other emotions. Children need to be heard, respected, praised, loved, encouraged, taught, etc. and they give the same in return. Learning begins as a thought and ends in the heart where passion lives. This can best be achieved when the child feels loved, heard and understood. Playing is an important component of physical, cognitive and social growth in young children. Caregivers must create an appropriate play/learning environment conducive to the age and ability of the individual child. Parents are a child’s first teacher and your children learn so much from you. We welcome thoughts and ideas from our parent’s, and our community. Keeping the best interest of the child(ern), at heart.
