Philosophy

Our Philosophy is very important to us. We want to make sure children get the best care. We believe they need a lot of attention and hands-on experience. We believe children absorb so many things at an early age and this is the best time to influence them to be the best they can be. We want them to learn through play, games, songs, and more. We believe in building children for the future in a play-based environment. Dramatic Play Learning Academy is a place where we want your child to overcome any challenges and achieve all their goals.

About our program

Dramatic Pllay Preschool, Inc. is a dedicated school to serve the community with the best quality care for children, parents, and staff to make a difference in our community. Dramatic Play Preschool is a small but mighty 5-Star licensed center located in a residence in Fayetteville, NC, near Honeycutt Elementary school. Our school has a loving, caring, stimulating environment where we provide a clean, safe, and healthy atmosphere. We have a small group setting with a low child-to-staff ratio serving no more than 12 children per shift with 2-3 teachers to provide high-quality care and early education. Our school is known for preparing children for kindergarten readiness and lifelong lessons through purposeful play, songs, games, and age-appropriate enriching activities. Our loving, experienced, qualified staff devote daily one-on-one time for each child’s developmental needs for children to thrive and grow at their own pace. At DPLA, we follow a daily structured schedule that includes circle time, Storytime, art, outdoor play, science, water play, and more. We provide nutritional meals and snacks per day. Our program accepts DSS and Childcare Aware Recipients.

Dramatic Play Preschool, Inc. was established in 2011 by Mrs. Zee. Mrs. Zee believes that children learn best through play; she developed a fun-filled, stimulating environment where children would have an amazing place to engage every part of the developing brain to learn everything they need to succeed. The name “Dramatic Play” was based on the Dramatic Play center located in early childhood classrooms where children play various roles and act them out bringing role-play to life. The Dramatic play center builds confidence, engages play, social skills, promotes communication and language development, new vocabulary, and so much more. Here at Dramatic Play Preschool, Inc., Our mission is to provide the best quality care to build community helpers through play for the future.

Mrs. Zee is happily married, with 3 children and 2 grandchildren; she has a two-year associate degree in Early Childhood Education with a big heart and a passion for children.
