Our Teachers

Hello, my name is Annetta Huggins, I have always had a passion for helping and in this changing world, education is most important. I am originally from Okolona, MS. I’m the middle child of four and only girl. I’m a mother of four girls, l’m lucky to still have my hair. I definitely push the importance of education on them, I graduated from High School, I attended Itawamba Community College, where I obtained my associate degree and finished with 81 hours. They are based in science and English. I keep up to date with the state trainings. I have also taken director classes which is a goal of mine to be soon one day. In this world we all need help, I am fortunate enough to have a great mentor that has been in business for over 40 years. . I started out tutoring kids in my hometown, I was fortunate to have hands on with McIntosh and Baby steps program as a parental worker. I am currently involved with multiple Pto’s. I have taken many leadership roles in food service, retail. I worked HomeHealth, and recently worked in tech, insurance troubleshooting for 8 years. I had to come back to my calling, and I want to gain your trust and support in allowing me to help your child blossom in a small setting.

Philosophy

At our school, we will create a foundation that your child can learn through “play base”. Which means we use open ended questions and will the sense of play to teach them. Children experience many things through play. It’s my mission to teach them in a way that brings excitement and learning at the same time.

Location

My location is located in Tupelo, MS., I am about 15 minutes from the city. Very quiet and full of nature. Very beautiful scenery. Nearest schools are Tupelo High School and Parkway Elementary School, closet park is Ballard. There is two medical clinics near the same park. I plan to have a storm shelter before the fall. As an alternative there is a shelter at Ballard Park as well.
