Our Teachers

Dr. K. Burton, Chief Operating Officer with 20 years of experience, has collaborated with educators and institutions of higher learning to help grow and sustain a comprehensive reading program to ensure participants gain the knowledge, skills, and dispositions essential for effectively teaching P-12 students the literacy skills necessary for a productive life. Varied theoretical underpinnings, research-based methods, and national standards, which include but are not limited to, Barksdale Reading Institute, National Institute of School Leadership, the National Reading Panel and Common Core Standards, serve as guidelines for the professional knowledge and pedagogical knowledge taught throughout each subject.

Level Up Learning Center and Level Up Learning Academy has highly qualified, trained, professional staff, who share the same vision, mission, and passion for educating students beginning from birth. All of our teachers are CPR/First Aid Certified and are trained to use all age appropriate standards, objectives, and curriculum.

Philosophy

We are a Non-Profit Corporation dedicated to educating the whole child. Our employees are trained to provide a high quality academic and social educational environment for infants 8 weeks and older. We are dedicated to nurturing the hearts, minds, and spirits of our children through the integration of traditional Biblical values and foundational educational skills. Grounded in the teachings of Christ, we strive to cultivate a community where academic excellence, character formation, and spiritual growth flourish. Our mission is to empower students to engage the world with wisdom, compassion, and a Christian worldview, equipping them to lead lives of purpose, service, and impact.

Location

With a commitment to serving the local community, Level Up Learning Center is located at 526 Fairview Avenue and Level Up Learning Academy located at 811 Harris Street. Level Up Learning Academy is located by the Greater Springfield Church, which offers various programs and events to support and uplift its community. Through its teachings and outreach efforts, the church and Level Up aims to make a positive impact on the lives of those in the Mississippi Delta.

Located in Greenville, Level Up Learning Center and Level Up Learning Academy is dedicated to nurturing young minds from birth. Our NECPA Accreditation ensures top-notch, positive, educational learning experiences using MDE Standards Based Lessons. Being the only NECPA Accredited Early Childcare Program in Greenville, MS and our focus on school readiness, cognitive & motor skills, backed by a caring team, sets us apart. Level Up Learning Academy and Level Up Learning Center’s educational philosophy and mission hold to the belief, instruction and practice of traditional Biblical values and basic educational skills including a Christian worldview. The school’s values and skills are central in helping children to learn respect for the qualities of life needed to attain true success and to be a productive citizen of the United States.

Admissions

Our admissions process is completed in 5 Steps:

  1. Complete the Online Application Process
  2. Complete and Submit Registration Pack from the center
  3. Submit copy of birth certificate, 121 Form, driver’s license, and proof of residency
  4. Sign Compliance Forms
  5. Receive and Complete Phone Conference
