Tracy Langston, Director
Ms. Langston graduated from Mississippi Delta Community College in 2009 obtaining her Associates Degree in Office Systems Technology. Ms. Langstons’ passion for caring for children derived from her childhood having been placed in foster care at the age of 5. She floated from foster home to foster home until she was adopted at the age of 10 years old. She now has three adults daughters of her own and 8 grandchildren, one grand of whom she adopted in 2015. In 2022, Ms. Langston had the opportunity to work at the daycare that her adopted granddaughter attends at TLC Academy & Learning Center, LLC where her inspiration into childcare took flight. Ms. Langston successfully completed her training with Wonderschool in March of 2024, received her Childhood Development Associate in Family Child Care, and is currently working to obtain the Mississippi Directors Credential in Jackson, MS. She believes in continuing her education because she understands the complexity of children and their behaviors and wants to help them. She is CPR/EAD: Adults, Infant and Children Certified and has received her TummySafe Certification both in 2024.
Ms. Langstons’ goal is to provide a clean, healthy, safe, and stable environment for you children packed with fun, learning, and more fun! She appreciates your support in advance.

My baby is happy to go and so excited it’s heartwarming knowing that my baby is not mistreated and is learning new things. He’s talking so much better as well.
Philosophy
Our Mission is to give our Kings and Queens the best opportunity to succeed in an everchanging environment. Our In Home Child-Care program allows us to truly focus on the early developmental stages due to having smaller portions of children in a home environment. We believe, that compared to children in a large group such as a facility daycare, that by providing a stable home like environment, a curriculum tailored to master that child’s growth abilities, dedicated child-care teachers, balanced meals, and a clean and safe environment that will motivate emotionally secure behaviors and show mental stability and growth when entering into the public or private sector schools. There are many values to this In Home Child-Care setting:
- From 0-5 years, children will learn proper and safe ways to play, learn from each other, support each other, learn some effective communication skills, rule acceptance, beginners Spanish/Sign Language and a host of other exciting new things
- Opportunity for a closer parent involvement with children and staff which in turns provides another safe haven for the child and the parent
- Opportunity for parents to build relationships with other parents (Support System)
- As an In Home Child-Care provider, we would like to provide outsourced support, if needed, such as trainings for parents, staff or/or children, periodic state screenings to ensure each child is meeting their required developmental level, etc
- Parents can request a date to volunteer (requested must be put in at least a week in advance)
- Providing a healthier environment by placing Vaporizers in all room (especially while sleeping) to promote better health. Also, because we are an In Home Care Provider, we plan to use that advantage to ensure our “sick” averages are very low (along with the parents help of course). ‘You can’t work if your child is always sick’
Location
Quiet neighborhood, major park one block over, local high school two blocks over, local hospital about 5-6 mins away, yard is completely gated front and back and rooms will have security cameras for monitoring.
About our program
At King’s & Queen’s Learning Center, each child receives personalized care and learning opportunities in a warm and supportive atmosphere. Our focus on a ‘tailored curriculum’ sets us apart from the traditionally larger daycare, therefore allowing optimal early childhood growth and learning experiences. Parents can use a ‘Volunteer Day’ to come in and sit with the children to see their little one in action (please request day in advance).
Another unique thing about King’s & Queen’s, is we focus on our children’s health. My initiative is to place Vicks Vaporizers in each room help decongest our babies. Thats one of the main complaints I had as a parent and many other parents that I’ve spoken to. We believe having children in a smaller setting lessings the potential and how often your child will be sick. We want to work with you to keep your child healthy.
You will also be given a Pick Up Pin Code, once you’ve finished enrolling. Each person on the pick up list will have their own individual pin. Trippling the security and safety abduction incidents.
I urge you, parents, come join our family. It’ll be home away from home for your child!
