Our Teachers

Kelsey Bach, Director and Provider

Kelsey graduated from Marquette University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and in 2012 with a Master’s degree also in Speech-Language Pathology. She has worked in early childhood education her entire career and has a wealth of knowledge on early childhood development. Kelsey realized her dream of opening her own home childcare program after spending time in many different kinds of childcare centers. She believes that small class size and the development of a strong community allow her to really know each child as an individual and to provide a solid and supportive foundation in the early years.

Philosophy

Our philosophy centers on fostering comprehensive development through play-based learning, rooted in the belief that every child is unique and capable of immense growth. We prioritize creating a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to explore, imagine, and discover at their own pace. Central to our approach is the cultivation of a strong sense of community, where collaboration, empathy, and respect thrive. Through meaningful interactions and engaging experiences, we aim to empower children to become confident, compassionate individuals who contribute positively to their communities

Location

We are located in the neighborhood of Calverton Park, just between Florissant and Ferguson. Our home is about two blocks away from the N. Elizabeth Ave exit of I-270. We are within walking distance of McCluer High School and Walnut Grove Elementary. Our house sits back from the street and is on an acre lot so there is ample room for children to play and explore in our fenced in back yard.
