Our Teachers

At Mary’s Childcare, we believe it takes a village to raise a child, and we are honored to be part of your village. Our team is led by Mary, a passionate and experienced childcare provider who has dedicated her life to nurturing and guiding children in a positive and loving environment.

Mary has been caring for children since she was young, and she quickly realized that working with kids was her calling. She understands that children feed off of energy and prides herself on creating a space where they feel safe, supported, and encouraged to grow.

Her experience spans across various age groups, from preschoolers to secondary education students, where she worked within the school district engaging with students in in-school success (ISS) programs. This experience has deepened her understanding of child behavior and the importance of positive guidance.

In addition to her childcare expertise, Mary has a background as a pharmacy technician and education in occupational therapy, equipping her with valuable skills in health, safety, and developmental support. She believes every child deserves a “home away from home” and the opportunity to be surrounded by trustworthy and caring individuals who can positively influence their growth.

At Mary’s Childcare, we are more than caregivers—we are mentors, nurturers, and a second family to the children we serve.

Philosophy

At Mary’s Childcare, we believe that every child deserves a nurturing, engaging, and individualized learning experience. That’s why our program is rooted in a play-based and Montessori-inspired approach, where learning happens naturally through exploration, curiosity, and meaningful interactions.

Mary understands that children thrive in one-on-one connections, and she uses games and interactive activities to meet children where they are, helping them express themselves and grow at their own pace. She believes that when children feel seen, heard, and valued, they build the confidence they need to succeed.

A quality childcare program should feel like a space that is just right for your child—one where they are free to explore, learn, and develop at their own pace while receiving the individual support they need to flourish. At Mary’s Childcare, we create that space every day.

About our program

At Mary’s Childcare, we specialize in meeting children exactly where they are—emotionally, socially, and developmentally. We believe that every child deserves the space to express their thoughts, emotions, and ideas, no matter how young they are.

Mary has a deep passion for fostering open communication and believes that even babies deserve validation. Their success is directly connected to building and maintaining strong, trusting relationships with their caregivers. We know that when children feel truly understood, they are empowered to grow into their best selves.

We also love bringing families together! Our program celebrates milestones, cultural events, and seasonal activities, creating a community-focused environment where both children and parents feel included.

At Mary’s Childcare, we don’t just care for children—we build relationships that support, guide, and uplift them for life.
