Our Teachers

Our teachers are a caring certified staff that has experience with children in a safe friendly environment. All staff are required to have a comprehensive fingerprinting background check before working with children and being on the premises. This is also a state and federal requirement that includes volunteer, teacher, guest, parents, or anyone that will be working with children onsite at any of my facility including off site.

About our program

Building Better Learners Center Academy in Detroit, we foster a welcoming environment where children thrive. Our program emphasizes school readiness, social skills, personal growth, foreign language, afterschool, and Honors Exceptional Kindergarten Program. With an innovative approach including play, nature exploration, foreign language exposure, and STEM activities, we cater to all learners, including those with unique educational needs. We also specialized in latchkey, afterschool programming, and entrepreneur programs for school age and pre-teens in our onsite and offsite facility.

Admissions

Our admission process is simple. First, contact us through email at eastbblc@gmail. com to have inquiry. Next, in the email, please put student admission in the subject line. Then proceed to the the next box under the subject line put all children names, ages, and other pertinent information for us to contact you , so we can promptly get back to you about complete admissions information for your child’s particularly age group and class. All parents must go to Brightwheel. com and put in all information as requested in the parent portal for informational classroom purposes, even if you get assistance from DHS. You can also go through wonderschool.com for payment and informational input! These sites must be completely filled out in order for admission or register fee to be discounted! Confidential information will not be given to any other third party besides director discretion (Brightwheel & Wonderschool) without parental or written consent.
