Ms. Terra is a dedicated childcare provider who operates a 24-hour in-home childcare program with a focus on the health and safety of children. With a background in nursing, as well as a career that began in the military and years of experience in both healthcare and childcare, she brings a unique perspective to her role. As a single mother of three herself, Ms. Terra understands the importance of creating a loving and nurturing environment for children. Philosophy
Our home based program is designed to provide children with a fun and engaging environment where they can learn through play. We believe that children learn best when they are actively engaged and having fun, so our program focuses on creating opportunities for children to interact with others and explore their creativity. From dramatic play to art activities and outdoor play, children will have the chance to develop their social skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. Our program also places a strong emphasis on learning foundational skills such as letter and number recognition, while also fostering soft skills such as sharing and communication. Our goal is to create a space where children are constantly smiling, laughing, and playing, all while learning and growing in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Location
We are located in a neighborhood close by Jessie Rouse Elementary School. For those using public transportation, less than a five minute walk. At our program we have a large fenced in backyard with room to run and outside play equipment.
