Our Teachers

Telisha Arotayo – Teacher I believe every child deserves an equal opportunity to learn, regardless of their background, beliefs, or learning style. In my classroom, I strive to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where children ages 3–5 can grow through play-based learning. I use a curriculum, encouraging children to explore, make choices, and reflect on their experiences through hands-on activities. My goal is to nurture social-emotional development, creativity, and critical thinking while fostering a sense of community and curiosity. I welcome families as active partners in the learning process and value open communication to support each child’s unique journey.

Philosophy

Our daycare program is based on the philosophy of letting children be children. Our learning styles include play-based hands-on, project-based, and active learning. We believe that children are innocent, curious, and bright. So our curriculum reflects the interest of the young and adds to the social, emotional cognitive well-being of the students we serve.

Admissions

Here at The Center of Life we accept ages 1-5 The ratio for in home daycare 1 adult to 6 children.

2. Tour our program: Come see what makes The Center of Life unique. If we are currently hosting tours, you can request or schedule a tour at the top of this page. If we are not currently hosting tours, you’ll see a “Request Info” button at the top of this page; if you submit your information using this button, we will notify you when we start host tours again in the future.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application: If you’re interested in enrolling, submit an application by selecting Apply to enroll! If this option is not available, you can message the program director.
