Our Teachers

Telisha Arotayo – Teacher I believe every child deserves an equal opportunity to learn, regardless of their background, beliefs, or learning style. In my classroom, I strive to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where children ages 3–5 can grow through play-based learning. I use the HighScope curriculum, encouraging children to explore, make choices, and reflect on their experiences through hands-on activities. My goal is to nurture social-emotional development, creativity, and critical thinking while fostering a sense of community and curiosity. I welcome families as active partners in the learning process and value open communication to support each child’s unique journey.

Philosophy

Our daycare program is based on the philosophy of letting children be children. Our learning styles include play-based hands-on, project-based, and active learning. We believe that children are innocent, curious, and bright. So our curriculum reflects the interest of the young and adds to the social, emotional cognitive well-being of the students we serve.

About our program
