Finding team members who meet the standards set in place is both rigorous and thorough. We set out to interview those who show a real passion for children and having fun! Once past the interviewing phase, we perform extensive background checks, including FBI fingerprinting. Only if all measures have been met do we bring on individuals to join our staff. Our staff members are thoroughly trained and vetted to provide the highest level of care. Many of our staff have children of their own and wholeheartedly understand how difficult it can be to entrust your children in someone else’s care. For this reason, all staff make it their mission to provide only the most nurturing environment for your children.

The Almighty Kids Playcare is nestled in Detroit along the up-and-coming E. Warren corridor. This vibrant area is currently being revitalized with new businesses, shops, and community spaces, creating a dynamic and family-friendly environment. Our location makes daily drop-offs and pick-ups easy and stress-free, with nearby bus stops and transit routes offering convenient access for commuting families. Whether you’re commuting from Detroit neighborhoods, Eastpointe, Warren, or Roseville we’re accessible, welcoming, and at the heart of a growing community.
About our program
TAKPC offers 24/7 child care in a play-based setting. Kids enjoy safe and stimulating playgrounds in a nurturing environment. Our unique program integrates children of all ages for a diverse and enriching experience.
Our drop-in care is perfect for running errands, appointments,nights out,overtime or even for much needed “me” time. Drop off and pick up on a whim or schedule an Almighty visit ahead of time!

Admissions
We make the registration process easy! Navigate and explore our website in the parent portal select “sign up”. You have the option to create an account and enter all of your family info, upload documents, make reservations, View our calendar and more! It typically takes 15-20 minutes to complete the process.
We have an annual registration of $40; this includes the entire family for a year starting the day you register. Once this is paid, you become a “member.”
All families are required to pay the registration and become members. However, we do allow first-time visitors without paying the registration, but your hourly rate will increase by $2.00 per hour per child.
We must have current immunization records on file for all children who are not currently enrolled in school. If your child is enrolled in school or a daycare other than TAKPC, we require that you provide the full information, including name, address, and phone number. Please note that if your child is not enrolled in school, we require immunization records to be up to date and accurate. If your family has chosen to exempt your child from receiving immunizations, we ask that you provide us with the State Vaccine Exemption Form.
TAKPC isn’t the traditional childcare we fulfill the needs of today’s modern parents and families who work outside the normal 9-5 work hours and 5 day workweek.
